Atomic Wallet to support Neo X when MainNet goes live
Third-party wallet provider Atomic Wallet has announced it will support assets on the Neo X EVM sidechain when the MainNet launches. Founded in 2018, Atomic Wallet has more than 5 million users globally, with around 500,000 active monthly users.
Atomic Wallet is a non-custodial wallet provider that doesn’t store user passwords, data, or seed phrases on its servers. When users create a new wallet, the 12-word seed phrase and private keys are encrypted and stored locally on the user’s device. Atomic Wallet is available for Windows and MacOS desktops as well as Android and iOS mobile devices.
The wallet offers support for approximately 85 layer one public blockchains, 1,000 ERC-20 tokens, 260 BEP-20 tokens, and 6 TRC-20 tokens. Additionally, Atomic provides staking services for 25 cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, Solana, and Cosmos.
The wallet has supported Neo since the Legacy version of the network. In January 2022, Atomic Wallet added support for Neo N3 on its desktop and mobile wallets and released a guide on migrating assets from Legacy to N3.
Looking forward, the Atomic Wallet team aims to launch a Chrome browser extension, which is currently in beta testing.
