Elon Musk-Themed Telegram Game ‘X Empire’ Reveals End of Mining Ahead of Airdrop

X Empire, formerly known as Musk Empire, has announced when its mining phase will end. This means the project’s airdrop isn’t far away.

Elon Musk-themed Telegram crypto game X Empire, formerly known as Musk Empire, has announced that it will be ending its “mining phase” on September 30. This sees the tap-to-earn game entering the last month for players to rack up points before the project’s upcoming airdrop.

Ending its “mining phase” means that after September 30, any in-game progression will not be accounted for when it comes to the token airdrop.

X Empire has been teasing a token airdrop for the end of September or early October. Recently the project burned in-game coins on accounts that hadn’t played for 30 days or more in preparation for the event.

The end of its mining phase will be one of the final major steps towards this goal.

Notcoin, the Telegram game with the most successful token launch thus far, also announced the end of its mining phase, with some believing the set date marked when the airdrop would commence. But that wasn’t the case with the airdrop claim coming over a month later.

Notcoin planned to launch 19 days after its mining phase ended, but the team announced a delay to ensure the launch ran smoothly. It’s expected that X Empire will also require at least a similar timeframe to process the end of the mining phase before launching the token.

“We have less than a month before our project enters the next phase,” the official tweet reads. “After that, the gameplay will pause as we move on to token distribution, and the X Empire app will introduce a new product that’s here to stay, evolving and growing alongside all of us.”

Notcoin reinvented itself to keep players engaged after its airdrop, and it appears that X Empire is posturing for a similar move by introducing “a new product.” For its predecessor, this was in the form of a story-driven game in collaboration with The Open Network NFT collection Lost Dogs. What this will be for X Empire is still to be seen.

This comes less than a week after the tap-to-earn game Hamster Kombat, which has the largest Telegram channel in the world, announced its airdrop would take place on September 26.
