Nvidia CEO aims to align innovation with regulatory standards under Trump
Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia said that the company will be complying with legal regulations along with technological advancements under Trump’s administration.
This week, Nvidia’s quarterly revenue was recorded as high due to increasing demand for AI chips. However, investors are concerned about the rising tensions between the US and China as Trump begins his term.
Jensen Huang was in Hong Kong to collect his doctorate in engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
There he told the reporters that “whatever happens, we’ll balance simultaneously compliance with laws and policies, continue to advance our technology, and support and serve customers all over the world”.
The US giant chipmaker was restricted in Biden’s administration from exporting their AI chips to the competing country, China.
Tech giants from around the world eye Nvdia’s technology, with investments of billions of dollars to benefit the training of their AI models and heavy computing needs.
